السياسة والاندماج السياسي
* Municipal elections were held in the occupied territories in the West Bank by the Palestinian Organization. Hamas boycotted the elections in retaliation to the PA organization and citing possible bias towards Fatah. Palestinian youth in the West Bank stated that while these elections are democratic, they do not replace legislative elections which are "a horizon for the youth".
* The Moroccan Justice and Development party demands the Arabization of official documents after an increase in the use of French. The party was not the first to demand this, as jurists and lawyers have protested the decision prior.

* أجريت الانتخابات البلدية في الأراضي المحتلة بالضفة الغربية من قبل المنظمة الفلسطينية. قاطعت حماس الانتخابات انتقاماً من السلطة الفلسطينية وحذرت من انحيازها لفتح. وصرح الشباب الفلسطيني في الضفة الغربية أنه بالرغم من أن هذه الانتخابات ديمقراطية، إلا أنها لا تحل محل الانتخابات التشريعية التي هي "أفق للشباب".
* حزب العدالة والتنمية المغربي يطالب بتعريب الوثائق الرسمية بعد زيادة استخدام الفرنسية. ولم يكن الحزب أول من طالب بذلك، حيث اعترض رجال القانون والمحامون على القرار من قبل.
الاقتصاد وريادة الأعمال
* Unemployment continues to haunt Iraqi Kurds in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan. Iraqi youth are faced with one of two choices, unemployment and corruption or illegal immigration, which comes with its own many perils. Protests have taken place across different cities in Kurdistan, having been met with tear gas and batons, demanding the reinstating of student stipends, which were discontinued in 2014. Students also complained of nepotism and political infiltration in educational institutions.
* The "Foras" program, which was created by HRH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, to provide Bahraini youth with practical skills needed for the workforce. The program collaborates with over 10 international organizations and offers training at said organizations to give the youth a push in their employment endeavors. The most recent company to join was Yokogawa and has hosted 10 female youth interns.
* The National Observatory for Human Development, a Moroccan governmental institution, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Fund revealed the numbers for the 2020 survey which included about 9 million Moroccan youth, about 25.3% of the total population. The survey revealed alarming numbers where 7 out of each 10 members of the youth group expressed interest in immigrating and stating that they would be happier if they were to leave Morocco. The survey also revealed that 2.3 million youth are without education and without work.
* Orange and the German Development Cooperation inaugurated its 8th digital center in the region in Amman, Jordan, which includes a coding school, a solidarity FabLab - one of the Orange Foundation's digital manufacturing workshops, and an Orange Fab (BIG by Orange) start-up accelerator, supported by Orange Ventures Africa, the investment fund. The plan is to open two more centers, one in al-Zarqa and another in collaboration with the German Jordanian University. The goal of these centers is to improve youth employability in a sustainable manner.
* The winners of the fifth edition of the annual Huawei Middle East ICT Competition in Qatar have been announced. 105 students from five different Qatari universities participated in this competition held by Huawei in collaboration with the ministry of education and higher education. The winners will now move on to representing Qatar in the regional competition.
* INJAZ UAE plans on expanding its reach to cover all seven emirates, to expand its reach, by expanding its flagship company, calling its "Company Program MEGA". The goal is to have youth with entrepreneurship skills/aims compete on an emirate level, to then move to the national and regional level.
* Ambassador Nabila Makram Abdel-Shaheed, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, visited the headquarters of "Swivel" in the UAE. "Swivel" is an Egyptian owned and run company that has been ranked as one of the top in the region. The Ambassador praised the co-founder and CEO Mustafa Kandill for representing Egypt abroad, as well as the staff that proved Egypt's capabilities to the world.
الاقتصاد وريادة الأعمال
* لا تزال البطالة تطارد أكراد العراق في إقليم كردستان شبه المستقل. يواجه الشباب العراقي أحد خيارين، البطالة والفساد أو الهجرة غير الشرعية التي تأتي مع مخاطرها العديدة. اندلعت احتجاجات في مختلف مدن كردستان، بعد أن قوبلت بالغاز المسيل للدموع والهراوات، مطالبة بإعادة رواتب الطلاب التي توقفت في عام 2014. كما اشتكى الطلاب من المحسوبية والتسلل السياسي في المؤسسات التعليمية.
* برنامج "فرص" الذي أنشأه صاحب السمو الملكي الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة ممثل جلالة الملك للأعمال الإنسانية وشؤون الشباب، لتزويد الشباب البحريني بالمهارات العملية اللازمة للقوى العاملة. يتعاون البرنامج مع أكثر من 10 منظمات دولية ويقدم التدريب في المنظمات المذكورة لمنح الشباب دفعة في مساعي التوظيف الخاصة بهم. وكانت أحدث شركة انضمت إليها شركة يوكوجاوا وقد استضافت 10 متدربات شابات.
* كشف المرصد الوطني للتنمية البشرية، وهو مؤسسة حكومية مغربية، بالتعاون مع صندوق الأمم المتحدة للتنمية، عن أرقام مسح 2020 الذي شمل حوالي 9 ملايين شاب مغربي، أي ما يعادل 25.3٪ من مجموع السكان. وكشف الاستطلاع عن أرقام مقلقة حيث أعرب 7 من كل 10 أعضاء من مجموعة الشباب عن اهتمامهم بالهجرة وقالوا إنهم سيكونون أكثر سعادة إذا غادروا المغرب. وكشف الاستطلاع أيضا أن 2.3 شاب بدون تعليم وبدون عمل.
* افتتحت اورانج بالتعاون مع منظمة التنمية الألمانية مركزها الرقمي الثامن في المنطقة في عمان في الأردن، والذي يتضمن مدرسة تضامنية للبرمجة "فاب لاب" - إحدى ورش التصنيع الرقمية لمؤسسة اورانج، واوانج فاب "بيغ من اورانج" وهي المؤسسة الحاضنة للأعمال، وذلك بدعم من صندوق الاستثمار "اوانج فينتشرز افريقيا". ومن المخطط افتتاح مركزين آخرين أحدهما في الزرقاء والآخر بالتعاون مع الجامعة الألمانية الأردنية. الهدف من هذه المراكز هو تحسين قابلية الشباب للتوظيف بطريقة مستدامة.
* تم الإعلان عن الفائزين في النسخة الخامسة من مسابقة هواوي لقطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات – الشرق الأوسط، السنوية في قطر. وشارك 105 طالبًا وطالبة من خمس جامعات قطرية مختلفة في هذه المسابقة التي أقامتها هواوي بالتعاون مع وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي. سينتقل الفائزون الآن لتمثيل قطر في المسابقة الإقليمية.
* تخطط إنجاز الإمارات لتوسيع نطاق انتشارها ليشمل جميع الإمارات السبع، لتوسيع نطاقها، من خلال توسيع نطاق شركتها الرائدة، التي تطلق عليها اسم "برنامج الشركة ميجا". والهدف من ذلك هو جعل الشباب ذوي المهارات / الأهداف الريادية يتنافسون على مستوى الإمارة، ثم ينتقلون إلى المستوى الوطني والإقليمي.
* زارت السفيرة نبيلة مكرم عبد الشهيد وزيرة الدولة للهجرة وشؤون المغتربين المصريين، مقر شركة "سويفل" بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. " وهي شركة مصرية مملوكة ومدارة والتي تم تصنيفها كواحدة من أفضل الشركات في المنطقة. وأشادت الوزيرة بالمؤسس المشارك والرئيس التنفيذي مصطفى قنديل لتمثيل مصر في الخارج، وكذلك الموظفين الذين أثبتوا قدرات مصر للعالم.
النزاعات
* Suicide rates have increased in both Lebanon and Syria. In Lebanon, people aged 17 to 34 have been cited as the most with the inclination to commit suicide in the past two years. The charitable organization “Embrace” has established a "Life Line" is the first suicide hotline in the region. The Life Line is staffed by specialists and psychologists who revealed that the number of callers has more than tripled in the past two years due to the economic and political crisis in the country. Similarly in Syria where the number of suicides crossed 150 due to circumstances created by the war, this number has decreased though, but no real reason was given for why.
* 23-year-old commits suicide by jumping out of the 7th story of his building due to the harsh living conditions caused by the economic and political crisis. In his pocket was a letter to his father asking for forgiveness because "dying once was better than continuously dying".
* Ten human rights organizations are calling for the release of Ahmed Douma, one of the founders of the Revolutionary Youth Coalition. Douma was served a life sentence and fined upwards of one million dollars in what human right bodies stated was an unfair trial.
* Palestinian youth أصيبوا in Beita, south of Nablus, in the West Bank after fighting broke out between the Palestinian youth from the city and occupation forces.
* Dozens of settlers invaded al-Aqsa mosque, and due to objections, the occupation forces ordered a two-week ban for 4 Jerusalem Palestinians, after arresting them, along with others.
النزاعات
* ارتفعت معدلات الانتحار في كل من لبنان وسوريا. ففي لبنان، يعد بالأشخاص الذين تتراوح أعمارهم بين 17 و 34 عامًا على أنهم الأكثر ميلًا للانتحار في العامين الماضيين. وأنشأت منظمة "امبرايس" الخيرية "خط الحياة" وهو أول خط ساخن للتحدث مع الأشخاص الذين يفكرون بالانتحار في المنطقة. يعمل في "خط الحياة" متخصصون وعلماء نفس كشفوا أن عدد المتصلين قد تضاعف أكثر من ثلاثة أضعاف في العامين الماضيين بسبب الأزمة الاقتصادية والسياسية في البلاد. وبالمثل في سوريا حيث تجاوز عدد حالات الانتحار 150 بسبب الظروف التي خلقتها الحرب، إلا أن هذا العدد قد انخفض، ولكن لم يتم إعطاء سبب حقيقي لذلك.
* قام شاب يبلغ من العمر 23 عاما بالانتحار بالقفز من الطابق السابع من مبناه بسبب الظروف المعيشية القاسية التي سببتها الأزمة الاقتصادية والسياسية. كان في جيبه رسالة إلى والده يطلب فيه المغفرة لأن "الموت مرة أفضل من الموت المستمر".
* تطالب عشر منظمات حقوقية الحكومة المصرية بالإفراج عن أحمد دوما أحد مؤسسي تحالف شباب الثورة. وتم الحكم على دوما بالسجن المؤبد وغرامة تصل إلى مليون دولار فيما وصفته هيئات حقوق الإنسان بمحاكمة غير عادلة.
* جرحى شبان فلسطينيون في بلدة بيتا جنوب نابلس بالضفة الغربية بعد اشتباكات بين الشبان الفلسطينيين من المدينة وقوات الاحتلال.
* اقتحم عشرات المستوطنين المسجد الأقصى، وبسبب الاعتراضات، أمرت قوات الاحتلال بمنع 4 فلسطينيين من القدس من اعتقالهم لمدة أسبوعين، بعد اعتقالهم مع آخرين.
التنمية
* Dozens of Egyptian youth participated in a simulation model organized by the Administrative Control Authority in coordination with Cairo University, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for the International Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption scheduled for next December.
* Instagram and Moroccan organization "Ibtisama Reda" launched an online campaign called "Click and Protect" to shed light on the increased cyberbullying and equip youth and teenagers with the tools necessary to combat this phenomenon. The campaign is coupled with help line for anyone involved, bully, bullied or witness, called "Stop Silence" to assist youth in the process of dealing with the incident.
* Half a million youth have registered for the World Youth Forum in its 4th edition, which is set to be held in January 2022. The 3rd edition hosted 15,000 from 160 countries, and the current registration for the 4th edition is at 500,000 from 196 countries.
التنمية
* شارك العشرات من الشباب المصري في نموذج محاكاة نظمته هيئة الرقابة الإدارية بالتنسيق مع جامعة القاهرة والوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية ومكتب الأمم المتحدة المعنى بالمخدرات والجريمة للمؤتمر الدولي للدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد المقرر كانون أول / ديسمبر القادم.
* أطلقت إنستغرام ومنظمة "ابتسامة رضا" المغربية حملة على الإنترنت بعنوان "انقر واحمي" لتسليط الضوء على التنمر الإلكتروني المتزايد وتزويد الشباب والمراهقين بالأدوات اللازمة لمكافحة هذه الظاهرة. وتقترن الحملة بخط مساعدة لأي شخص متورط، أو متنمر، أو مضايق، أو شاهد عيان، وتدعى بـ"أوقفوا الصمت" لمساعدة الشباب في عملية التعامل مع الحادث.
* تم تسجيل نصف مليون شاب في منتدى شباب العالم في نسخته الرابعة، والتي من المقرر عقدها في يناير 2022. استضافت النسخة الثالثة 15000 من 160 دولة، والتسجيل الحالي للنسخة الرابعة هو 500000 من 196 دولة.
التعليم
* First-year aviation students at the Amman Arab University paid a visit to the Middle East Aviation Academy to introduce them to the campus where they will later take part in practical training.
* The "Journey of the Union" initiative launched by the Al Bayt Mitwahid Association (ABM) at Expo Dubai honored talented students for their distinguished academic performances. During his speech at the initiative, Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, stressed the importance of youth as the true wealth of the nation, builders of the future and ambassadors of UAE, embodying the values of the nation.
* First Moroccan autistic man to earn his PhD in Morocco. Karim Ben Abdelsalam, from Rabat, had specialized in monotheistic religions at Mohammed V University in Rabat.
التعليم
* قام طلاب السنة الأولى في مجال الطيران في جامعة عمان العربية بزيارة إلى أكاديمية طيران الشرق الأوسط لتعريفهم بالحرم الجامعي حيث سيشاركون لاحقًا في التدريب العملي.
* كرمت مبادرة "رحلة الاتحاد" التي أطلقتها جمعية البيت المتوحد في إكسبو دبي الطلاب الموهوبين على أدائهم الأكاديمي المتميز. وأكد الشيخ نهيان بن مبارك آل نهيان، وزير التسامح والتعايش، خلال كلمته بالمبادرة، على أهمية الشباب باعتبارهم الثروة الحقيقية للوطن، وبناة المستقبل، وسفراء الإمارات، وتحديدا لأنهم يجسدون قيم الدولة.
* أول مغربي مصاب بالتوحد يحصل على الدكتوراه في المغرب. الشاب كريم بن عبد السلام من الرباط كان قد تخصص في العقيدة والأديان السماوية بكلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بجامعة محمد الخامس بالرباط.
