* The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari, hosted a group of young Lebanese men and women from different regions and backgrounds, including the head of the Lebanon Youth Movement, Elie Saliba, along with other activists, leaders, lawyers, and professors. During the meeting, the Ambassador stressed on the importance of relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. He also highlighted the important role of youth, intellectuals, and elites in determining the course of countries and peoples, confronting terrorist ideas, and consolidating the principle of adherence to institutions and the law.

* The Independence Youth Union, the youth framework of the Palestinian Democratic Union "FIDA", continued the activities of the international volunteer work camp, organized in the northern governorates with the participation of about 100 activists from its members along with progressive youth frameworks from the 1948 territories and from international solidarity members of international leftist and socialist parties. The village of Beit Dajan in the Nablus governorate, which is threatened by settlements, was the first stop in the activities of the camp. Activists participated in the weekly march in the village against “settlement and settler terrorism and against the practices of the occupation forces and against the Israeli government’s escalated attacks against citizens and their property.”
