Wide calls for nationwide protests and strikes in Iran and other parts of the world with the advent of the third anniversary of the killing of demonstrators in November 2019. Many institutions, unions and associations, as well as the families of victims of the anti-Iranian protests in 2019, called for demonstrations and strikes on the 15th, 16th and 17th of November. In a statement, the "Young Neighborhoods of Tehran" group called on citizens not to pay water, electricity and gas bills, in a manner similar to civil disobedience. She also urged them to abstain on those three days from doing banking and shopping, and from closing shops. In turn, the "Zagros Initiative" committee announced in a statement, "The youth of Kurdistan, along with other cities in the country, will make the days of November 15, 16, and 17 hell for the Iranian regime.

The American New York Times said that Iranian youth and minors are facing an “existential catastrophe”, as hundreds of them have been arrested for joining the demonstrations that have been going on for two months, which led to the death of many in a “brutal” crackdown launched by the authorities. The newspaper quoted Iranian lawyers and activists as saying that a 14-year-old girl was imprisoned in an adult prison alongside drug addicts, and a 16-year-old had his nose broken during detention after being beaten by security men, while a 13-year-old girl was years old) was physically assaulted by a militia who raided her school. The newspaper added that the authorities are targeting thousands of minors under the age of 18 for their participation in the protests, according to interviews with several people, including lawyers in Iran involved in cases and human rights activists, as well as parents, relatives and adolescents living in the country. The sources confirmed to the newspaper that at least 50 minors have been killed so far.

Demands to activate the role of youth in society and political action, create job opportunities for them, work to reduce unemployment, work to serve the public interest and serve the people, not make the council to serve personal interests, and to communicate their voice to the government and achieve their demands. This is what the youth of today desire after many experiences with the succession of sessions And change persons.

The head of the Youth Communication Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Othman Al-Muammar, confirmed that the Youth Communication Group (Y20) is one of the most important global platforms for young people due to its proximity to decision-makers and its ability to influence international public policies, as more than 20 youth delegations from the twenty countries participate in it. The delegation presented its recommendations related to public policies concerned with youth affairs through the final statement of the G20 Leaders’ Summit, which includes these recommendations. He stated that the Kingdom's delegation included this year's graduates of the "Empowering Voices" program of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation, "Misk", which qualifies Saudi youth to represent the Kingdom in international forums.

According to a 2022 report by the International Labour Organization, the Arab states “have the highest and the fastest growing unemployment rate of young people worldwide, projected at 24.8 per cent” for people aged between 15 and 24, compared with the global average of 15.6 per cent. Reflected in this figure is a much higher unemployment rate among young women (42.5 per cent). “Young women continue to face serious obstacles in accessing decent and productive jobs when they do participate, driven by discriminatory practices, gender stereotypes and insufficient family-friendly policies. They bear the double burden of being both young and female,” Ruba Jaradat, ILO regional director for Arab States, tells Equal Times. It is important to note that the unemployment rate for people between 15 and 24 and the conditions they face vary significantly from one country to another. While the figure was close to 40 per cent in Jordan and Palestine at the end of 2021, it was 14 per cent in Oman and only 0.5 per cent in Qatar. According to a joint report by the ILO and the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), even before the pandemic, the region needed to create as many as 33.3 million new jobs by 2030 to bring the regional unemployment rate down to 5 per cent and absorb the large number of young people who will enter the labor market.

On Tuesday, the activities of the fourth conference for small and medium enterprises began, entitled "Dialogue between employers and workers: Towards effective labor market policies," which was organized by the Jordan Chamber of Industry in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and the General Confederation of Trade Unions. The representative of the Minister of Industry, Trade, Supply and Labor, Secretary General of the Ministry, Farouk Al-Hadidi, said during the opening of the conference, "We are witnessing today a painful obsession, which is unemployment, which stands as an impenetrable barrier to sustainable economic development, as the Corona pandemic exacerbates its repercussions on the national economy." Al-Hadidi stressed the importance of adopting all the recommendations emanating from this conference within the action plans of the vision of economic modernization, and the various work programs of the ministry, in a way that achieves the interest of the national economy and creates a work environment for the advancement of all small and medium enterprises, which constitute the largest percentage of operating enterprises in the national economy. For his part, the President of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Eng. Fathi Al-Jaghbir, affirmed that this conference is a continuation of the role of the Chamber, which it has assumed upon itself since 2014 in raising the level of influence of employers’ organizations in public policies and enhancing the contribution of its members, especially small and medium enterprises, in achieving sustainable development, through What the Chamber presented in its three previous regional conferences.

From a peak at the start of this year, the numbers joining IS have begun to slow. The stories of those who left are now well-known in Tripoli, and that makes the prospect of following them less enticing. But as Lebanon continues to struggle with its crippling financial crisis, and its politicians stall on forming a new government months after the country's elections, life isn't getting any easier. And so, the IS recruiters continue to circle, hoping to attract a new intake of disenfranchised Lebanese youth.

Israel killed a Palestinian boy who was on his way to school, when the army stormed the city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, and surrounded the house of one of the wanted persons, sparking armed clashes before arresting him. And the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Monday, that the high school student, Mahmoud Abdel-Jalil Al-Saadi (18 years old), died of critical injuries, which he was shot in the abdomen by the occupation forces, during their raid on Jenin. Jenin was stormed hours after a car exploded in the city. Israeli media said that the security establishment confirmed that the car that exploded in the area between the village of Ya`bad and the Dotan settlement in Jenin "was a car bomb with the aim of activating it against the Israeli army forces."

Despite the warnings issued by some parties in Gaza to prevent young people from illegal immigration, especially to Europe, and the resulting drowning and missing persons, which have increased in recent times, and the return of some of them dead, these calls did not prevent young people from emigrating. The Palestinian News Agency quoted, in an opinion poll, a young man in his thirties named Ahmed Abdel Nabi: I did not leave a place to search for a job without knocking on it. I finished my university education 7 years ago and since then I have been searching for a job opportunity, sometimes I find work in construction and another in selling tea and coffee. And all these jobs did not cover my daily sustenance, adding: Opportunities in Gaza are almost non-existent for people like me, they are only for those who have mediation.” In a related context, the “Amad” website reported that the “Hamas” police forced the lawyer, Dr. Muhammad al-Tilbani, to sign a pledge not to offend Hamas or its government through his personal page, due to his comment on the implementation of death sentences in the Gaza Strip, considering it a mockery of Hamas. Hamas police also detained journalist Hani Abu Rizk on charges of incitement and defamation against her. Because he told the story of a Palestinian citizen whose house was demolished by Hamas in favor of a businessman.

The activities of the Youth Forum concluded in the city of Qamishli, in Al-Hasakah Governorate, northeastern Syria, on Thursday. It lasted for two days, and was inaugurated by the "Bell" organization in cooperation with a number of civil society organizations working in the region.
