* Human Rights Organization B'Tselem released report stating that 313 Palestinians were killed by Israeli violence in 2021. Most of them having died during the Israeli offensive on Gaza in May 2021, with 66 children dying in the period. Other minors and youth were killed in the West Bank by the IDF or settler violence.

* A Palestinian youth was shot in the thigh by Israeli forces during a protest in al-Fawwar refugee camp, near Hebron in solidarity with Hisham Abu Hawwash, a Palestinian prisoner in Israeli detention centers who was on hunger strike to protest his arrest.

* Emma Watson accused of anti-Semitism after an Instagram post made in solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The post itself made no mention of Israel, Zionism or Judaism, but comments of anti-Semitism were raised by Israeli official, Danny Danon, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations. However, the comment backfired as the anti-Semitism claim, which is a popular tool of the occupation, has begun to breakdown and lose its potency. Danon faced massive backlash from people, even liberal Zionists feared that his comment too "crass".

* As the war enters its 10th year, the Syrian exodus continues with thousands lining up for passports every day, but with corruption and nepotism controlling the process, many are desperate to immigrate for a new start. Illegal methods of immigrating have also been looked into, despite the immigration procedure for UAE and Egypt being eased for Syrians, but the demand for passports has made it difficult for many to apply.

* Ramy Kamel, one of the founding members of the Maspero Youth Union, which was born after the 2011 uprising, was released after two-years in pre-trial detention. Multiple international communities protested his detainment and treatment after it was proven that there was no case or trial against him. Kamel was warned by Egyptian authority after he continued to post proof of sectarian violence against the Coptics in southern Egypt.

* 17-year-old Basant Khaled commits suicide after doctored images of her are made public. The incident pictures were made and released after Basant refused to go on a date with a male youth, to which he and a friend attempted to blackmail her. This led Basant to suffer from extreme depression despite the support from her family, which led to her committing suicide. These two youth have since been detained and the family's lawyer is currently handling the case.

* Nearly 9 million Fenethylline tablets were seized after being hidden in fake oranges. The shipment was set to be sent to the Gulf from the Port of Beirut. This particular drug has become a regular for recreational use among affluent youth in the Gulf. The drug is predominantly made in Syria and Lebanon.
